Description
Responsible for supporting the job activities of the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting, Director of Finance, and Controller. Requires general finance and accounting knowledge and has responsibility to maintain operational records, gather data, prepare reports, prepare reconciliations and perform other clerical duties. Essential Duties:

  1. Assist with building supporting schedules for preparation of quarterly Call Report.

  2. Assist with gathering of information for external auditors.

  3. Assist with gathering and saving supporting documentation for fixed asset additions and disposals.

  4. Assisting with pulling daily journal entries.

  5. Assisting with daily Debit Card adjustments.

  6. Record MIAC trade ticket information.

  7. Maintain public fund pledging daily.

  8. Balance Finser monthly.

  9. Transactions for other portfolios including LCHD, Lubbock County.

  10. Balance quarterly investment accounts.

  11. Maintain bond folders, including safekeeping receipts.

  12. Make general ledger tickets for all security transactions.

  13. Coordinating all TRUPs payments and correspondence.

  14. Monitoring of public fund bids.

  15. Serve as Co-Administrator on Wire platforms.

  16. Board reports for South Plains Financial Inc.

  17. Board reports for ALCO Meetings for TX.

  18. Weekly FR2900 reporting.

  19. Monitor Municipal Securities and document review of TMR reports.

  20. Perform weekly and monthly updates to TexPool rates.

  21. Represent the bank to the customer in a courteous and professional manner. Furnish prompt, efficient, and accurate service.

  22. Give attention to detail and provide excellent communication skills.

  23. Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and professional environment.

  24. Participate in training sessions as required by supervisor.

  25. Assist with other accounting and finance department projects as needed.
