Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator, Home Care, Hospital.
In this role, the successful candidate as a Logistics Coordinator you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our program by overseeing the logistical aspects of patient care delivery. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate and optimize the delivery of healthcare services in a home-based setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage projects related to equipment and logistics by establishing project plans, ensuring documentation of project progress, and using standardized project management tools.
- Facilitate project team meetings by providing administrative support as needed, including setting meeting objectives and agendas, noting key decisions, and following up on action items. Perform ad hoc data analysis to support equipment project planning, as needed.
- Review, revise, and/or develop departmental policies and procedures and assists with communication of policy or procedural changes to staff and other health system personnel, as required.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of medical supplies and equipment required for patient care. Partner with GE Precision Healthcare, LLC (GE Biomed), clinical teams, central sterile processing department, MCIT, and other key stakeholders to ensure standardized and efficient equipment flow.
- Coordinate the delivery, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and service providers to troubleshoot any issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular assessments of regulatory compliance, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assignments, scheduling, and logistics-related information and assist with the establishment of process and outcome measures for equipment logistics.
- Compile data and generate reports as required to monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the program team to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve any logistical challenges or bottlenecks that may impact the program's efficiency or patient satisfaction.
- Facilitate ongoing interdisciplinary communication and teamwork to attain goals and objectives related to equipment inventory & logistics.
- Build and promote positive working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Home Hospital Program.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 1-3 years of clinical support or other health care related experience.
Proficient in using computer software and applications, including MS Office suite.
Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for broad and diverse audiences.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while paying close attention to details.
Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to think critically.
Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $48,682.22 - $81,137.04 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
