Position Overview The Regal Rexnord Business System Specialist is part of our Continuous Improvement Team. This team is primarily responsible for the rigorous application of the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) tools across the Micro-Motion business to drive sustainable process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Drive ever-improving results by leveraging RBS tools, consulting skills, and change management process
- Assist site/company leadership in the development of a Continuous Improvement roadmap
- Support the monthly Site Operations Review and ensure a rigorous Problem-Solving Process is utilized to address Key Performance Indicators that miss monthly targets
- Organize and facilitate workshops and Kaizen events
- Ensure sustainment for all Kaizens & Workshops
- Directly provide formal and informal RBS training and coaching
- Assist in achieving Division Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives
- Continue to evolve RBS tools
- Identify Wastes throughout the business and provide expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them
- Improve RBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in RBS tools
- Promote and facilitate associate development in various RBS tools, lean production, and Kaizen leadership
- Benchmark and incorporate best practices
- Understand and promote Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Follow all Procedures. Maintain Records required for QMS applied to your position
- Support Corrective/ Preventive Action as required
- Support Internal Audit Program according to your actual assignments
- Ensure implementation of Regal Rexnord Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
- Follow Regal Rexnord/Regulatory Safety Policies and Procedures to perform assigned work duties in a safe manner.
- Report any unsafe conditions, injuries, near-misses or safety suggestions to Supervisors/Manager/EHS representative.
- Cooperate and participate in incident investigations to determine and eliminate causes or hazards.
SKILLS
- Technical knowledge of Product and Manufacturing processes
- Strong written, verbal and computer skills
- Excellent communications and instruction skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
- Success in managing through influence, persuasion, coaching, and counseling
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a Leadership perspective
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of process improvement tools like 5S, VSM, Problem-Solving, etc.
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma concepts or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in Engineering or Operations
- 1+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement
