Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Account Executive to play a key leadership role in expanding market share with institutional investors, asset managers, and other stakeholders across the commercial real estate ecosystem. This position is responsible for leveraging existing relationships to drive revenue and leading new business development initiatives to bolster EBI's growth in the areas of commercial real estate due diligence, Energy & Sustainability, and ESG Strategic Consulting. The successful candidate will actively cross-sell and introduce our varied service lines to customers in the commercial real estate and finance industries. An ideal candidate will have experience selling and marketing within a professional services arena, with strong existing relationships in the real estate finance sector.

This position reports to the Industry Leader Commercial Real Estate Investment. As this position will serve clients in California and throughout the West Coast, the ideal candidate will already be established here and comfortable with travel as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to high-value commercial real estate clients
  • Leverage an existing, active book of business to drive immediate growth across EBI's service lines
  • Identify and close new business opportunities with institutional investors, REITs, private equity firms, lenders, and developers
  • Cross-sell EBI's multi-disciplinary service offerings (Environmental Due Diligence, ESG Strategy, Energy & Sustainability, Engineering, and Health & Safety)
  • Maintain and develop long-term client relationships based on a deep understanding of client goals, asset lifecycle needs, and industry challenges
  • Provide market intelligence to inform EBI's sales strategy, forecasting, and service development
  • Actively contribute to CRM utilization and sales process optimization
  • Value building long-term, dynamic, customer-intimate relationships with clients
  • Must exhibit excellent business development, customer service, technical knowledge, and leadership skills, and work well within a multidisciplinary team environment



    Qualifications and Capabilities



    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior client-facing or business development role in commercial real estate advisory, environmental consulting, or sustainability services
    • Proven track record of revenue generation and client acquisition, with a verifiable book of business
    • Deep understanding of the commercial real estate and finance ecosystem, including relevant regulations, trends, and buying cycles
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; capable of engaging C-level decision-makers

    The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $110,000 - $175,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
