Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Associate Project/Test Manager or Senior Analystto support project manager and lead testing and implementation efforts for GE products across utility and industrial platforms. This role combines strong project management capabilities with quality assurance leadership to ensure successful delivery and validation of GE solutions.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Responsibilities:

    Lead end-to-end delivery of GE product implementation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and status reports.
  • Maintain RAID risks/issues/action items/decision log and follow ups until closure.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including GE teams, customer SMEs, and integration partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, issue resolution, and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, IT security, and compliance requirements as applicable.

Test Management Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the testing strategy for GE products including functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Oversee creation of test plans, test cases, and test execution schedules.
  • Manage test teams (internal or vendor) and coordinate test environment setup.
  • Track and report test metrics, defect status, and resolution timelines.
  • Support end users and business teams during UAT and post-go-live validation.


Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT/OT projects with at least 3 years in a Test Manager or Project Manager role.
  • Experience managing testing or delivery of GE Grid or GE Digital products (e.g., GE ADMS, GE DMS, GE EMS, GE Smallworld, GE Historian, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and project management practices (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, Grip).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CSM, or ISTQB Certification.
  • Experience working with utilities, energy, or industrial customers.
  • Familiarity with IEC standards, NERC/CIP compliance, or SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of API testing, automation tools, and scripting is desirable.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

The Salary range for this position is $104,000 - $124,800. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
