Summary:

The Vice President, Network and Ambulatory Operations is accountable for driving the strategic development and operational execution of a fully integrated, sustainable healthcare network for CHRISTUS and is fully functional and the market leader in the Tyler area. This executive will be responsible for ensuring the network is comprehensive, high-performing, and positioned as the market leader. This role will be working with out-patient departments for all of CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances. The Vice President will collaborate closely with system leadership and business development teams to expand access through new sites, programs, and services, while optimizing performance across existing locations. Key responsibilities include aligning and integrating operations across CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, CHRISTUS Health Plans, CHRISTUS ACO, and all CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances facilities. The vice president will develop and implement metrics and dashboards to measure and drive integration across the network, ensuring alignment with ministry-wide goals.

Education:


  • Advanced degree in business administration, business development, marketing or health care related field.

Experience:


  • A minimum of 5 years recent progressive executive leadership in a service oriented, healthcare environment, preferably a hospital.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate multi-year leadership responsibility and delivery of successful performance metrics.

Skills:


  • Track record of understanding the health care delivery and health care operations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and operational responsibility in a large/complex hospital, hospital system.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and operational management.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with other key providers.Understanding of physicians and physician environments a potential advantage. Incumbent is a role model for physician relationships.
  • Experience with physician clinical integration models.
  • Demonstrated excellent in customer service and customer satisfaction and the ability to maintain high Associate engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ability to successfully apply new learning to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Demonstrated excellence in negotiation, facilitation, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial operations and ability to meet/exceed financial expectation on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to leverage technology for operational improvements.
