Marketing Coordinator - Retail

The Position:

The Retail Marketing Coordinator will provide support to the Marketing Department with planning and managing retail marketing projects. They work effectively with the sales team across all segments and possess great communication skills. They thrive in ambiguous situations and can shift gears to provide support wherever it is most needed and are not afraid to dive into the details. They should have an appreciation for how social media impacts the overall customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver and super communicator with proven experience supporting marketing initiatives. You'll thrive in this role if you are a creative and analytical thinker, detail-oriented, and have the ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate can work from home but ideally must be located close to one of our retail centers, such as Pennsauken NJ or New Castle DE.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Facebook page management for five retail clearance centers across the nation
  
  
  
  • Both regular and sale/event posting
    
    
    
    • Communicating with store supervisors to obtain photos/videos every week.
    • Posting furniture pictures and videos.
    • Comment and message responses.
    • Writing creative copy for posts.
    • Updating profile images and account information as necessary.
    
    
    
    
  
  
  
  
• Advertising
  
  
  
  • Social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram
    
    
    
    • Set up various campaigns through Meta Business Suite for each store.
    • Monitor and watch campaigns as they run.
    • Check in phone calls with our Meta representative.
    
    
    
    
  • Idea Generation
    
    
    
    • Explore new advertising and promotional strategies to help increase foot traffic and sales in stores.
    
    
    
    
  
  
  
  
• Website Updating
  
  
  
  • The adding of various featured deals and furniture items on our website for customers to view.
  
  
  
  
• SMS and Email Blast Marketing
  
  
  
  • Work with graphic designer to create campaigns promoting the store and upcoming events/sales.
  
  
  
  
• Call Rail Phone Data Analyzation
  
  
  
  • Listen to clearance center calls and categorize them.
  
  
  
  
• Sale Events
  
  
  
  • Coordination of seasonal/monthly sales with retail segment manager
    
    
    
    • Creation of flyers, Facebook events, advertisements, email blasts, SMS campaigns, social media graphics and other resources to promote event.

What We're Looking For:

• Marketing team experience.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and team focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment!
• Strong project management skills.
• Active social media user.
• Ability to operate with autonomy and discretion.
