Click for a complete list of Employee Benefits. The incumbent will work alongside the Patient Access, Ambulatory, and Care Coordination teams. The Patient Services Specialist will be responsible for facilitating outpatient transportation for patients with acute and chronic transportation needs. Coordination between rideshare services, insurance plans, and UI Health clinics is required to fulfill the responsibilities of this role effectively. This position is developed in alignment with UI Health's goals to reduce social determinants of health by increasing access to health services. Duties & Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications Required: 1. Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below: A. Coursework in business, finance, public administration, social sciences, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
