Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

40 hours/week, Day Shift

Summary

The Cardiovascular Anesthesia Technologist role is responsible for technical work in the operations of sophisticated physiologic monitoring devices that provide information to Physicians/Advanced Practice Practitioners and Perfusionists in the management of patient care during surgery. Responsibilities include set up, calibration, operation, maintenance check, assisting, teaching, troubleshooting and interpretation of monitoring devices.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Completion of two year program in Cardiovascular Technology or related Health Science degree required.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting involving patient care or education providing operating room training required.
