Cybersecurity Architect, Lead

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture-you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber architecture skills to lead the design and development of secure systems for clients? We're looking for a cybersecurity architect who can create solutions for our client that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a lead cybersecurity architect at Booz Allen, you'll oversee the design and security for networks and operations. You'll coordinate work with a variety of cyber teams across the organization to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and organizational needs.

You'll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, need analytics, and more. You'll broaden your skillset into new areas like artificial intelligence, automation, and other edge technologies while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your clients meet their toughest challenges.

You Have:

• Experience administering and supporting Data Loss Prevention Environments covering Development, Data At Rest, Data In Motion, and PCI

• Knowledge of administering or supporting Symantec PGP, Email Encryption, and Desktop Encryption tools

• Ability to assist with component upgrades, installs, testing, and configuration

• Ability to create strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors, Executives, line of business leaders, and security professionals

• Public Trust

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience deploying solutions for single sign-on, two-factor authentication, or authorization services for enterprise applications using access management products, such as Axway API Gateway and products from Ping Identity

• Knowledge of implementing risk-based access controls, specifically in deploying web and non-web-based enterprise applications using SAML, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, OAuth, and various cryptographic standards and capabilities using PingFederate and PingAccess

• Ability to create custom application API integrations using PowerShell or Python to interconnect multiple security tools, such as DLP and Tanium, to perform automated tasks
