This Position reports to:

EL Sales Support Manager - Technical Sales Support

As a Regional Support Specialist, you will support the local Cylon, Smart Building Solutions Sales teams and our customers by providing technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. You'll prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology in support of the product lifecycle. You will be a key technical resource for ABB Cylon's Digital Solutions Portfolio, including its HVAC and Energy Management Controls products.

You will be mainly responsible for:

  • Providing technical and solution support for the Regional Competency Center (RCC) Americas Building Automation portfolio
  • Work closely with system Integrators to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex issues and provide appropriate and accurate technical solutions
  • Responding in a timely manner to internal and external customer questions and inquiries and effectively resolving any problems on an ongoing basis
  • Address customer's problems on Digital Solutions platforms, HVAC controllers and energy management systems & applications, including management of escalations and transition of support to cross-functional teams involving IoT.
Job Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product support within the Smart Building or industrial automation automation industries
  • Excellent computer skills required, including strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic IT networking, and Salesforce
  • 2+ years of technical project management is preferred
  • Knowledge of low-voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols such as Modbus and TCP-IP
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10-15% of the time

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

    While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $79,800 and $127,680 annually.
