Duties


Manage contract support activities, including tracking and negotiating contractual documents. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during contracting activities. Utilize Sales Force, use, and act as point of contact for the CLM tool for contract management. Lead implementation teams for new CLM tools. Respond to company-wide requests for reports, interpretation and information on contract terms. Negotiate and maintain agreements with customers, such as direct sales, indirect channel agreements, RFP/RFI responses, NDAs, cloud agreements, software license agreements, and maintenance agreements. Advise various business units (services, sales, sourcing, security) as required. Provide legal support to the marketing organization by reviewing press releases, sponsorship agreements, among others. Act as project manager for internal projects related to contracts, processes, and templates. Handle routine to complex deals, including new solution/product offers and third-party product agreements. Serve as team leader.

Requirements


This position requires 5 years related contract negotiation experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field and 3 years related contract negotiation experience. Must also have 24 months of demonstrated experience with each of the following: 1) Working in a global environment (including Latin American, Canadian, and U.S. markets), demonstrating adaptability to various business practices and environments and the ability to mentor fellow teammates; 2) Using CLM, companywide contract repositories, and SalesForce and other CRM to track negotiations, store executed contracts, and stay up to date on commercial opportunities; 3) Negotiating, managing, and updating medium and high complexity agreements with local and global customers and partners including direct/indirect sales, RFP/RFI responses, NDAs, software license agreements, implementation services, maintenance agreements, managed services, subscription services, third party resale engagements, and cloud-based agreements; 4) Leading and coordinating key projects to help improve operational processes within the organization such as the creation of job aids and new templates as needed; and 5) Providing support and advice to various departments, including Sales, Services, Product, and others by reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing agreements and transactional documents by identifying nonstandard terms and risks associated with them and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Salary: $90,000 to $130,000/year.
