Function: Logistics System Operations, Supply Chain

Location: Remote/Cobec Site - DC/Occasional Client Travel as Requested

Salary Range: $95- $130k

Security Requirements

Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Public Trust cannot be granted without meeting the residency requirement.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance (moderate risk), including a soft credit check and criminal background check. Please refer to the criteria listed in

Job Summary

This position supports the FAA's Maintenance & Logistics Systems In Service Management Team (AJW-164), providing subject matter expertise in Maintenance and Logistics Systems Operations. The Program Analyst will apply deep knowledge of Remote Maintenance Logging System (RMLS), NAS logging and monitoring systems (NLN/NRN), and associated applications (e.g., eTPR, Peabody, Event Manager, TAP Connected). The role involves providing leadership in the development of operational guidance, policy evolution, and stakeholder engagement across FAA Technical Operations.

Years of Relevant Experience

The position requires 7-10+ years of relevant experience in FAA maintenance/logistics systems, including direct support to RMLS/NLN operations. Prior work with FAA Technical Operations or AJW organizations is highly preferred.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide subject matter expertise on FAA Maintenance and Logistics Systems, including RMLS, NLN, and eTPR.
  • Review national policies and initiatives to assess and communicate their impact on RMLS and related systems.
  • Advise the NLN Program Manager and team on policy alignment, change management, and operational enhancements.
  • Support FAA stakeholders and operational service areas in resolving complex, cross-cutting issues.
  • Lead or contribute to planning and executing functional activities across FAA maintenance systems.
  • Draft guidance, memoranda, and communications (e.g., TechNet, email, briefings) for changes affecting RMLS and TAP Connected systems.
  • Apply operational knowledge of logging practices by ATSS users using tools such as TAP Connected, TAP Mobile, NIS, and ORCA.
  • Coordinate across FAA programs and apply knowledge of FAA Orders (6000.15, 6000.30, 6000.5, 6032.1, 6040.15) and programs (FSEP, NAPRS, RMMC).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. Master's degree is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Extensive experience with FAA Technical Operations and policies.
  • Proven ability to assess operational impacts of system and policy changes.
  • Experience supporting FAA systems such as RMLS, TAP, and eTPR.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Familiarity with FAA facility operations, maintenance documentation, and compliance reporting.

Travel

Occasional travel to FAA sites may be required based on client needs.
