Research Associate, Utilities Sector

Summary

Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC (“SWS” or the “Firm”) (a FINRA-registered broker/dealer) is conducting a search for an experienced Research Associate to support the Senior Equity Research Analyst covering Utilities. The ideal candidate would be an entrepreneurial, resourceful self-starter seeking to join a small collaborative team. The candidate would support the expansion of coverage to the large-caps and help the team increase client mindshare through innovative and insightful fundamental research. The successful candidate could work remotely or from one of the regional offices nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing company and industry information

• Building and maintaining in-depth financial models

• Independently writing company and industry reports

• Cultivating company, industry, and investor relationships

Qualifications

• SIE, Series 7, 63, 86 and 87

• At least 2 years of prior work experience as a Research Associate covering Utilities

• Solid understanding of equity markets and the Utilities sector

• Exposure to financial statement modeling and analysis
