Our Space team in East Aurora, NY is looking for a driven Sr. Performance Leader - Manufacturing Engineering to join their dynamic team. You will report directly to the Operations Engineering Manager and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment on first shift (7am - 3pm).

As our Sr. Performance Leader - Manufacturing Engineering, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:

  • Managing a team of 10+ employees in Manufacturing Engineering

  • Develop work instructions to manufacturing parts from start to finish

  • Working with program teams to understand scope of the project, providing guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and optimize manufacturing processes

  • Support procurement process as needed

  • Conducting tests throughout all stages of production and troubleshooting/solving production/design problems

  • Work with Operations Engineering Manager to identify/develop/measure process improvement plans and short/long term goals to achieve high-impact results

  • Drive performance management in the areas of hiring, accurate time reporting, personnel evaluation, supporting talent growth and development, managing all employee relations issues and providing employee counseling, discipline and performance feedback

To be considered for this Sr. Performance Leader role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience) + 6 years' experience in a similar role OR an Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) + 10 years of relevant experience

  • 5-7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required

  • Knowledge CNC machining operations is preferred

  • 3D CAD experience is required

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $90,000.00-$135,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
