The Position

We are seeking a passionate, people focused strategic leader to join our Implementation, Planning & Support leadership team as a Senior Director, Roche Healthcare Consulting. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we bring innovative solutions to meet our customer's needs and that we deliver the experience our customers expect and deserve throughout the entire journey. The Opportunity

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of a cross-franchise Strategic Workflow Consulting team, aligning solutions with Global and Local stakeholders.

  • Guide and oversee field-based Workflow & Digital Consultants in delivering consulting assessments, training, and tailored advice to customers.

  • Build close relationships with C-Level executives in healthcare organizations, understanding their needs and collaborating on a shared long-term strategic vision and solutions to deliver on those needs.

  • Influence and collaborate with internal and global Roche teams to drive innovation and portfolio development based on project demands.

  • Manage the operational and financial performance of the consulting team to create value and achieve cross-franchise sales and profit objectives.

  • Develop and administer consistent, high-quality consulting practices to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial value.

  • Communicate and promote the value of Roche Healthcare Consulting services internally and externally, partnering closely with marketing, sales, and service teams.

  • Provide thought leadership and promote lean workflow methodologies to support development, commercialization, and international market adaptation.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering or healthcare related field

  • Minimum 8 years of management experience required.

  • Background must include in-laboratory experience or healthcare industry experience and experience delivering and managing IT or Process consulting services using Lean Six sigma or similar analytical tools

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a healthcare discipline (MBA, MHA, MHSA, MPH) preferred

  • Black Belt level achievement in Lean and Six Sigma programs; Master Black Belt preferred or equivalent demonstrated experience

  • Experience in product or service development, launch and marketing preferred.

  • Strong business management skills with a thorough understanding of finance, operations, digital solutions, quality systems, planning, and process improvement

  • Strong lean operations and transformational leadership experience through common tools including standard work, Single-Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) risk management, theory of constraints, visual controls, 5s, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $172,300 - $320,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
