SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a Community Engagement and Data Analytics Specialist to maintain and process a comprehensive database of information, data, and records related to our Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) Project, located in Brownsville, Texas. This role will emphasize community engagement and stakeholder relations, leveraging data analytics to support these initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect, verify, and analyze data from various sources, including meetings, emails, forms, and spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Review and conduct thorough reviews of data and information received from the Grievance Management System (GSM) to to generate insights and reports that support community engagement activities.
  • Draft meeting minutes and maintain official record of meetings, including discussions, decisions, and action items.
  • Use data visualization tools to develop dashboards to monitor data trends and KPIs, and create consistent and clear reports
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for community outreach and engagement.
  • Coordinate and support meetings, events, and conversations with community stakeholders, according to plan.
  • Prepare and present data reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for community engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment of community engagement efforts with project goals.
  • Adhere to guidelines and standards while ensuring compliance with data integrity and security policies.
COMMUNITY METRICS
  • Track and report on community engagement metrics such as event attendance, stakeholder meeting frequency, and feedback response rates.
  • Measure the impact of community outreach programs through surveys and feedback forms.
  • Analyze demographic data to ensure diverse and inclusive community representation.
  • Monitor social media engagement and sentiment analysis related to community affairs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication channels and strategies in reaching community members.
  • Assess the level of community support and satisfaction with project initiatives to maintain a community stakeholder map.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience using data analytics tools and software (e.g., PowerBi, Excel, SQL, Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience using a stakeholder engagement database or similar.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in data entry and analysis.
  • Experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, or related fields is highly desirable.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail to accurately capture meeting discussions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present data insights clearly.
  • Ability to work independently meeting deadlines for minute preparation and distribution
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and positive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Required/preferred education:
  • Associate Degree preferred
