Summary:

The Corporate Responsibility and Sponsorships Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing PeoplesBank's commitment to community impact and social responsibility. This position supports grant and giving programs, employee volunteer initiatives, and data-driven reporting, while leading the planning and execution of internal and external events that reflect the bank's values. Serving as a key liaison between the bank and community organizations, the Coordinator ensures meaningful engagement, seamless logistics, and impactful programming that strengthens relationships and promotes positive social change. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Executive Offices in Holyoke with visibility at community events and engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Grant & Giving Program Support

  • Assist in the administration of internal and external grant programs, including application intake, documentation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support the coordination of monthly and annual giving initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of funds.

Community Engagement & Volunteerism

  • Contribute to the development and execution of community engagement strategies and employee volunteer programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the bank and community organizations, nonprofits, and other stakeholders to foster strong partnerships.
  • Assist in planning and executing outreach events, volunteer activities, and seasonal initiatives such as blood drives and holiday programs.

Event Management & Coordination

  • Lead and support the planning, logistics, and execution of internal and external events, including ticketed engagements, sports-related tournaments, outreach initiatives, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure events are well-organized, impactful, and aligned with the bank's community goals.
  • Manage event-related tasks such as venue coordination, vendor communication, guest lists, promotional materials, and post-event evaluations.
  • Oversee event merchandise inventory and distribution to support branding and engagement efforts.

Data & Impact Reporting

  • Compile and analyze data related to community engagement, volunteerism, and giving programs to assess impact and inform future initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that communicate program outcomes and support strategic decision-making.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Responsibility team, including typing, data entry, scanning, and document management.
  • Maintain organized records and assist with compliance documentation as needed.

Professionalism & Compliance

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, resolving inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Represent the bank with integrity and warmth in all community-facing interactions.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Complete all required compliance training and adhere to bank, federal, and state regulations.
  • Uphold departmental and bank-wide service standards and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience in administrative roles within an office environment. Prior involvement with non-profit organizations and event coordination is highly desirable.

Computer/Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
