Nokia of America Corporation, Test Engineer (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ.
- Develop Automated Test SW and HW optimized for efficiency, cost and yield from NPI to product EOL cycles.
- Define Test Strategy, Test SW and HW required for cost-effective, automated test solutions for development and manufacturing of Photonic Integrated Circuits and Fiber-Optic transmission Network Equipment.
- Conduct GRR studies, monitor production data, diagnose process variations, and troubleshoot test stations.
- Review and contribute to technical documentation (schematics, test specifications, test set layout, product testability).
- Perform technical interface between R&D labs, EMS partners and Nokia Supply Chain.
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output.
- Responsible for contribution to teamwork.
- Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines.
- Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI
Domestic travel up to 20% required. International travel up to 15% required. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Murray Hill, NJ may be permitted up to 60%. Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following:
- DWDM, OTN, or Optical Fiber Communications technologies;
- Photonic and Electrical/Optoelectronic Test and Measurement technologies;
- Programming language: Python; and, Test Equipment Automation.
