This individual will be primarily responsible for managing projects through Intralox's product development process. This Project Manager will work in our New Orleans office to support our new product development team in the creation of innovative, high-value solutions for challenging real-world problems. This position reports to the General Manager of Intralox Grand Rapids. Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities Work with systems engineer and new product engineers throughout the new product life cycle (from research to retirement) by understanding and driving the decision/stage gate process. Work with engineering and business analysts to identify and assess risk and recommend risk mitigation. Successfully execute projects through Intralox's product development process. Manage change to a project's scope, schedule and/or cost. Actively manage project through stage gates by monitoring progress, coordinating cross team activities and proactively identifying and resolving potential resource or process conflicts. Assist in adapting and refining the existing product development process for a growing and evolving product line. Evaluate project outcomes and work with various teams to continuously improve product development process. Identify business processes that don't align with our growing product line, assess implications and work with various teams to recommend changes. Requirements Bachelor degree Minimum of 5 years experience in project management; prefer degree in project management or engineering technology field. Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude. Demonstrated skills including organization, problem solving, written and oral communication, documentation, attention to detail, multi-tasking and genuine ownership of and pride in one's contribution to the team.
