Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences. Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC. Required Skills, knowledge, and certifications or licenses *Meet with students at scheduled times to facilitate student learning and success. *Knowledge of collaborative software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) *Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and online instruction pedagogy *Oral and written communication skills *Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be on time for all meetings, appointments, training, etc. Preferred Skills, knowledge, and certifications or licenses *Experience with online instruction. *Experience with competency-based education. *Experience with Non-traditional F2F teaching methods. *Experience with Canvas LMS. *Experience with Simple Syllabus. *Experience with Workday. *Adaptable to new teaching and learning styles. *Three years of teaching in the discipline. Education and Experience *Faculty members who teach in developmental programs must have a bachelor's degree in a discipline related to their teaching assignment and have either teaching experience in a discipline related to their assignment or graduate training in developmental education. *Exceptional cases of professional experience or credentialing in lieu of the above requirements may be considered on an individual basis by the Vice Chancellor who oversees academic programs, or his/her designee.
