Your Day-to-Day:

A Wind Turbine Generator Equipment Engineer focuses on the electrical aspects of wind turbine systems, ensuring the generators and related equipment function efficiently and reliably.



  • This role involves design, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the electrical components within a wind turbine.
  • Ensure the generator and other electrical systems operate correctly, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables
  • Data driven decision making skills
  • Ability to relate to Field Service Personnel to provide adequate technical support



Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:



  • Bachelor's - Engineering
  • Experience: 2+ years
  • Strong understanding of the principles and operation of electrical rotating machines, including electromagnetic theory and machine dynamics.
  • Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions for generator systems, using diagnostic tools such as Vibration Monitoring, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA, ESA), and endoscopic inspections.
  • Familiarity with materials and techniques used in the construction of rotating electrical machines and the manufacturing processes involved.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS)Familiarity and experience with Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience with writing repair, operations, and/or maintenance procedures and specifications
  • Capability to translate and communicate financial and technical business cases to gain leadership approval
