Job Title: Customer Care Associate
Job Description As a Customer Care Associate, you will assist customers with both new and existing claims while promoting participation in preferred provider programs and services when applicable. Your role involves providing telephone coverage in accordance with position guidelines, adhering to call strength audit standards, and actively working to increase product knowledge using available resources. You are expected to meet performance and dependability expectations as set by management and contribute to a positive and respectful environment. Responsibilities * Assist customers with new and existing claims. * Promote participation in preferred provider programs and services. * Provide telephone coverage according to position guidelines. * Adhere to call strength audit standards. * Increase product knowledge using KM and resources from the SCO Intranet pages. * Meet performance and dependability expectations outlined by management. * Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. Essential Skills * Customer service skills. * Ability to handle inbound and outbound service calls. * Sound verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in ClaimCenter, CARE, Outlook, and telephone applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Secure and maintain state and non-resident licenses. * Regular evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word. * Complete ongoing job-related training through ATLAS or other platforms. Work Environment Our work environment is business casual with a smaller family feel. Facial piercings other than studs are not allowed, but different hair colors are acceptable. Employees do not have to work on holidays such as Christmas or New Year's. You will work in-office for the first 90 days, after which a hybrid work-from-home model can be utilized. Company-issued laptops are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Liberty Lake, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43105.65 - $43105.65/yr. Medical, dental, vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance Paid Vacation - you will receive at least 13 vacation days in the first 12 months, amounts could be greater depending on the role. While able to use prior to accrual, vacation time will accrue monthly. Holidays - 14 paid holidays observed Sick time - 6 days sick time at hire, 6 additional days sick time at 90 days of employment Generous 401k with company match and immediate vesting.
