GENERAL FUNCTION:

Manage the day-to-day routines of the External Manager select list to assist in attracting assets under management. In addition, assist the strategy team with respect to communications, allocation recommendations, portfolio management and alternative investments.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and responsible for the ongoing management of the External Manager select list, including the analysis, selection, due diligence and monitoring of any external mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs.
• Regularly engage with other members of the IMG and external advisors to ensure effective communication regarding client objectives and coordinate portfolio changes.
• Participate in efforts to train bank wide portfolio managers and sales groups on the operations, applicability and account procedures with respect to the External Manager product.
• Assist in the administration of the SMA Managers, including new account setup, invoices, and ad hoc requests.
• Assist in developing, and ongoing updating of, customer communications, marketing materials and internal communications related to the External Manager platform.
• Assist the strategy and product teams with respect to macro strategy projects, portfolio management, and alternative investments.
• Keep informed of market trends and analyze the effect of these trends on client's investment portfolios.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree Required. MBA preferred.
• Five years investment management or general financial services experience.
• Prior investment product management experience desirable.
• Prior investment management experience preferred.
• Professional designation of CFA or CFP attained or in process to attain preferred.
