Position Summary The Senior Analyst SAP Payroll Systems will be responsible for the maintenance and support of SAP Payroll software based on business requirements and/or SAP best practices. Work will range from day-to-day product support, system configuration, and administration to managing change-control procedures and acting as the main supporting analyst on all future development in the tool. Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of SAP HCM and Payroll software
- Lead the systems design, and configuration
- Create high-quality deliverables (Business Requirements Documents, Process Design Documents, Business Process Procedures) based on analyzing business requirements, processes and process gaps
- Participate in unit, regression, and end-to end testing
- Configure SAP functionality while complying with sound System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles
- Comply with JetBlue Airways Client instance strategy for executing transports to facilitate system changes
- Work with the SAP technical teams for translating functionality requirements into technical attributes
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of issues as needed
- Ensure smooth integration and/or rollout of new functionality into operational environments by coordinating closely with the affected process stakeholders
- Use qTest and ServiceNow to track requirements status and execute test cases
- Meet acceptable IT Corporate and Crewmember Services published SLA's (Service Level Agreements) for all system enhancements and defects
- Provide communication and reporting to leadership regarding testing progress, status and issues
- Maintain proficiency in technology and tools to enhance productivity and quality of systems
- Engage in software quality assurance and control for testing process improvements
- Deploy software to Test environments, developing release notes for production and participating in the production rollout
- Provide estimates on the level of effort for any system enhancements based on user requirements
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related area; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- Three(3) years of progressive experience with design and configuration of SAP HR modules including: Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, Time, Benefits, Enterprise Compensation Management, Learning Solution and ESS/MSS functionality
- Three (3) years' experience with configuring US Payroll, schemas and rules is a required
- Exposure to SAP ECC 6.0, EhP7
- Exposure to or knowledge of ASAP or related methodology
- Familiarity with SAP Product Suite and understanding of relational database concepts, and client-server concepts
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Five(5) years of progressive experience with design and configuration of SAP HR modules including: Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, Time, Benefits, Enterprise Compensation Management, Learning Solution and ESS/MSS functionality
- Proven ability to configure ESS/MSS and familiarity with Fiori Apps
- Experience with configuring Payroll Cockpit Center is a plus
- Experience in Business Analysis, Requirements reviews, and creation of Testing Strategy and Requirements
- Capability to configure SAP HCM modules based on SAP Best Practices as well as customized business requirements
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision
- Ability to follow all relevant standards and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written to the IT Corporate and Crewmembers Services and Business teams
- Ability to balance multiple assignments of competing priorities while managing to meet forecasted target dates
- Working knowledge of business process analysis and process engineering
- Capability to categorize testing errors into syntax and/or logic errors and then coordinate with the IT Corporate and Crewmember Services and business team in categorizing error attributes
- Understanding of SAP Data Dictionary and Table Structure
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Quality Assurance methodologies
- Experience with SAP automated test tools, LSMW, e-CATT, etc.
- Knowledge of Functional, System, Integration, Unit and Regression tests
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).
- Focused and driven to excellence to ensure quality of deliverables
- Ability to analyze, document, and verify system change requests (defects, enhancements, and new features)

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year.
