Position Summary |
The incumbent will be asked to preform manual work in facilities cleaning, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance and other related duties in and around the
UGA Griffin Campus. Primary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and caring for building areas and equipment. Individual works under close supervision and follows well established routines and procedures. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools, equipment and practices of the cleaning profession.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with university personnel.

- Cleans laboratories and restrooms, empties trash, washes windows.
- Cleans and washes building entrances and sidewalks.
- Washes windows, wall, and trash cans
- Cleans glass doors and classroom equipment, frequently works from a ladder.
