Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Provides direct and indirect counseling services to patients and their families using individual, group, and family therapy. Provides bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, treatment planning and coordination with multidisciplinary team. Remains open to clinical and peer supervision process.
Essential Functions

Be the difference Provides direct and indirect clinical/therapy services to patients and families covering a broad range of standard practice modalities and theories, biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic determinations, individual, group, and family therapy, aftercare services. Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of the therapeutic program, including strategies for quality improvement, patient satisfaction, regulatory adherence, and associated policies, processes, chart audits. Develops an individualized treatment plan including measurable treatment goals related to patient's presenting problems. Participates as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Performs case management responsibilities involved with patient care. This includes, but is not limited to, Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Family Involvement/Education, timely and appropriate documentation as needed. Serves as team lead and operates as a resource to staff. Supervises graduate students as field instructor/site supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
Minimum Requirements
Education - Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human services field of study. Experience - Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting. Hospital or community agency setting preferred.

Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020, are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Currently licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners, or currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners, or currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists, or currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) by the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Group, individual, and family therapy skills, psychiatric problem-solving abilities, assessment skills, treatment planning skills. Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills across multiple professions/disciplines. Basic knowledge of computer software and utilization of electronic medical record.
