FTE 1Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 80Work Shift Day: 8 hoursJob Description The Clinical Data Specialist serves as a technical and analytical resource for the collection, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of clinical outcomes and quality data. This position is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and distributing regular and ad hoc statistical reports, as well as performing data extraction and management for Service Line-wide databases, registries, and hospital systems. In addition, the Clinical Data Specialist is responsible for the clinical data abstraction and management of NCDR and other cardiovascular registry data, including but not limited to TAVR, LAAO, STS, and Afib Ablation procedures. This role works in close collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Medical Directors to identify trends, monitor performance, and implement data-driven strategies aimed at improving clinical outcomes. The Clinical Data Specialist also serves as an active member of the performance improvement team, participating in committee meetings and contributing to initiatives that ensure the highest standards of quality data collection, analysis, and reporting.
