Position Description: |
The University of Iowa Health Care, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine, and Occupational Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting for BC/BEoccupational medicine provider. Candidates who are BC in a primary care field, but who have considerable clinical experience providing occupational health services are also encouraged to apply. The position will be at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Successful candidates will receive a salary commensurate with the individual's training. Clinical duties include the regular outpatient clinical management of work-related injuries/illnesses and occupational exposures, independent medical examinations, second opinions, impairment ratings, and may include other occupational health activities such as staffing the University Employee Health Clinic or teaching at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. Clinical duties will be located in Eastern Iowa. Responsibilities may vary based on the experience and interests of the successful candidates. Certifications: |
BC/BE occupational medicine provider. Candidates who are BC/BE in a primary care, orthopedics, physiatry, or preventive medicine but have considerable clinical experience providing occupational health services are also encouraged to apply. |
