Valiant is looking for a Fabricator and Explosive Breacher to join our team! In this role you, will provide expertise to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Nuclear Enterprise Directorate to plan and conduct DTRA to support range activities. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support fabrication activities Plan explosive breaching operations Develop explosives handling and use safety plan Develop range control instructions and guidance Observe, analyze, assess, and document lessons learned Support range set up and cleaning Provide expertise on joint training processes and procedures Provide training event facilitation Other duties as assigned Valiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law. SECURITY CLEARANCE: A current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution EXPERIENCE: 15+ years as a US Army Special Forces Medical Seargeant Former US Army Special Forces with heavy breaching experience 8+ years of welding and fabricating experience with Arc, Stick, and Mig welding as well as Oxy/Acetylene and Exothermic (Broco, Oxylance, Bauer) experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to perform tasks under deadlines Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills Ability to interact with employees from other departments or groups ability to work at a computer for extended periods Ability to travel unaccompanied to foreign and domestic locations. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior DTRA experience US Army Special Forces Medical Instructor US Army Special Forces Operations Manager Expertise with Microsoft Office tools PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job involves primarily working outdoors and exposure to the temperatures and elements associated with the region.
