Position Summary

Support daily operations and workflow of umbilical termination and testing in Panama City, FL. Position is focused on set up and operations of Testing related activities -termination assembly, hydraulic testing, electrical/ FO testing, tube welding and fabrication welding. Foreman will be required to understand and enforce daily compliance with Level 2, Level 3, and JSEA documents related to each task. Candidate to exercise ability to review and verify technician competencies against standard work instructions. Needs take ownership and hold all team members accountable for results.

Shift: Shift work hours 2 PM - 10:30 PM


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Align Testing teams with plant wide goals related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Use knowledge of Level 2 and Level 3 safety documents to govern Testing teams.
  • Lead risk reviews and verify action status.
  • Conduct toolbox and CORA talks related to high hazard task.
  • Provide clear task instructions and define expectations.
  • Work directly with supervisors on shift layout and daily task assignments.
  • Work closely with line Testing Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, QC department, Planning and maintenance teams on continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate equipment issues and repairs with maintenance department.
  • Stay up to speed on weekly testing attainment plans and production schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, understands how to lead by example.
  • Be able to efficiently manage time and workload with minimal amounts of supervision.
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback and mentoring without escalation.
  • Ensures that all involved in the project are kept informed on any issues or challenges identified.
  • Learn and use future digitalization systems to effectively manage work related task. Support daily operations and workflow of umbilical manufacturing facility in Panama City.

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of some experience.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of people in a matrixed organization.
  • Must be able to flex schedule if needed.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • Experience with MS365 preferred. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Must be able to wear required PPE for work area: steel toed boots, safety glass and hard hat.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) to access work location within 30 days of hire.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is considered SHOP WORK which is characterized as follows:

  • Work may require indoor or outdoor work, day, and night. Exposure to weather elements.
  • Frequently working on or near moving and vibrating equipment.
  • Humidity is frequently above 90%.
  • Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
  • Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
  • Work surface is stable.

OCCASIONAL:

  • Lift to 35 pounds.
  • Work in confined spaces, kneel, jump, run, work while lying on stomach/back, and use repetitive movements of the arms and hands.
  • Wear required PPE for specific tasks as required.

FREQUENT:

  • Lift 10-25 pounds
  • Climb stairs/ladders, stand, balance, stoop, squat, reach and carry/lift objects.
  • Twist body, sit with back unsupported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated and work with arms extended overhead.

CONSTANT:

  • Lift to 10 pounds.
  • Wear PPE protection consisting of steel-toed boots, safety glasses and hard hat.
