Muscle Foods USA, a Division of EURPAC SERVICE, INC., is currently looking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position working the afternoon/evening schedule.

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for completing the daily tasks required to keep the warehouse running smoothly and will support the daily operations of the organization. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Facility Manager, the Warehouse Assistant Manager will assure also provide supervision, leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists Warehouse/Facility Manager with managing entire warehouse crew, not including Interstate Drivers.
  • Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
  • Helping Warehouse/Facility Manager maintain and follow all Standard Operating Procedures and ensure all are following company guidelines.
  • Fill in when the Warehouse Manager is absent and manage the warehouse in the same capacity.
  • Provide input on performance of all warehouse employees in regard to their work ethic and performance and report any violations directly to the Warehouse/Facility Manager when needed.
  • Open and close the facility when needed. This includes setting and disarming the alarm. Supervise warehouse employees (including driver as needed).
  • Assist with supervising daily operations of all warehouse duties and direct employees as needed
  • Responsible for the training of new employees in regard to company procedures as well as safety regulations
  • Provide input (including conducting interviews as needed) for the hiring of new employees (both full-time and temporary)
  • Responsible to assist with order processing including but not limited to billing, labeling, posting receiving, etc.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by management

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in a very high paced work environment with daily & weekly time restraints and deadlines.
  • Must be able to speak English.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.
  • Must have prior experience working in warehouse.
  • Experience in receiving a plus but not required.
  • OSHA & Fork truck certification required for class I, II, III, IV, and V required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to do local deliveries and fill in for, and assist, driver when needed.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Inventory control.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 40 pounds routinely and 70 pounds occasionally; standing100% of the time
