POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Brand Manager of Osteo Bi-Flex and Ester-C is responsible for developing the strategic vision and plan to meet growth targets of $200MM portfolio. As the brand "boss" a successful candidate will succinctly communicate that vision/plan cross functionally and work collaboratively to executive effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop long term strategy/short term plan in collaboration with cross functional partners. Gain senior stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish growth targets and marketing budgets to support annual/strategic plan objectives.
  • Calendarize - sales, spend, programming - monitor accuracy, effectiveness - adjust as needed.
  • Provide quarterly business updates to senior leadership.
  • Build customer sell stories for new items, distribution gains and category thought leadership.
  • Establish brand monthly business reporting process with key cross functional stakeholders - shipments, consumption, marketing plan, innovation.
  • Brand lead for month end close - shipments, phasing, variances and marketing spend.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competitive situation, business performance and convert to strategic marketing recommendations.
  • Measure and monitor performance against plan and program effectiveness - provide strategic recommendations on plan pivots/optimizations.
  • Build and execute portfolio architecture via packaging and pricing strategies.
  • Brand lead for innovation and renovation stage gate process.
  • Lead the strategy and implementation of annual SKU rationalization.
  • Partner with cross functional partners to identify ways to optimize product cost structures and achieve sustainability goals. Brand representative for cross portfolio/corporate initiatives.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in Brand Management experience in building brands and driving the business; including financial management and P&L management.
  • Bachelor's Degree is Required, an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven success in consumer-packaged goods, classically trained marketer on aspects including forecasting and analytics, with ability to work in entrepreneurial environment. Strong digital marketing experience a plus.
  • Experience in business analytics, strategy development and marketing programs that have driven results.
  • Experience in supplements, healthcare or nutrition preferred.
  • If remote, must have ability to travel to NY/NJ area for team meetings (<10% of time).

  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Possesses ease in presenting ideas & recommendations to senior leadership. Championing ideas- demonstrating a willingness to provide well-founded justifications for recommendations while also being unafraid to question existing norms.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Strong story-telling skills.
  • Analytical rigor (research assessment, business performance data, financial assessments).
  • Ability to assess, develop and implement innovative business opportunities
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams and agency relationships.
  • Problem solver mindset from key issue analysis to strategic imperatives to tactical planning Timeline/critical path management.
  • Financial planning, P&L management.
  • Consumer understanding (positioning, insights).
  • Collaborative, strong team player with strong interpersonal/communications skills.
  • Motivated, energetic and excited to learn from great leaders in the CPG industry. Passion for the health & wellness space a plus.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.

The approximate pay range for this position is $140,000 to $185,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
