Part-Time Driver \| Royal Truck Body \| Nashville, TN Regular Employee \| Hourly Non-Exempt \| $0.00 - 0.00 What you'll do: Safely operate assigned company vehicle Drive vehicles under 26,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Transport vehicles, parts, or goods to designated locations within assigned areas Ensure items are properly secured to prevent damage or injury Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries Assist in mapping driving routes Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery Communicate with dispatch or supervisor as needed Verify that shipment contents match delivery documentation Perform basic pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Keep the vehicle clean and presentable Refuel and report any maintenance needs or delivery issues Follow delivery schedule and take breaks as required by company policy Maintain simple driving and delivery logs Adhere to company rules, regulations, and all applicable traffic laws Always make safety a priority What you need to be successful: High School Diploma or GED preferred Valid state driver's license Clean driving record with no major moving violations Must pass background check and drug test Skilled at driving and parking a variety of vehicle types (cars, vans, light trucks) Alert, focused, and detail-oriented Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs Good sense of direction and ability to follow GPS or routing instructions Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Why The Shyft Group?
