The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Coordinator, Social Media, to join our firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid). Within this position, the Senior Coordinator, Social Media, will be responsible for supporting the firm's social media operations and collaborating on the creation of compelling content for LinkedIn and other relevant platforms to enhance brand awareness and support business development initiatives. The Senior Coordinator, Social Media, will also assist in shaping and executing the firm's social media strategy through social media planning and strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting all operational aspects of the social media function.
  • Managing the Firm's day-to-day social media calendar and posts for LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Manager, Multimedia Projects, and other members of the Business Development & Marketing department to develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the firm's business development and marketing goals.
  • Collaborating on graphics and video content for social media and other multimedia needs.
  • Coordinating and reporting on social media performance metrics and collaborating on developing relevant recommendations.
  • Staying up to date on social media trends and best practices and keeping abreast of legal industry developments.
  • Ensuring all content complies with the firm's policies and style.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent drafting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to use discretion, and exercise independent and sound judgment.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, when interacting with attorneys, senior administrative business services professionals and peers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of four years related experience in a professional services environment

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

$90,000 - $100,000
