Member Service Representative I

Location: Rochester, NH

Pay: $19+/hr + incentives

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Some Saturdays required.

The Role: Member Service Representative I

As a Member Service Representative I, you'll be the face of Lighthouse Credit Union-proactively identifying member needs and referring them to products and services that enrich their financial lives. You'll handle routine transactions, initiate meaningful conversations, and serve as a single point of contact to build lasting relationships.

What You'll Do
  • - Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, wires, and fraud packets with accuracy and courtesy
  • - Balance your cash drawer/TCR and maintain privacy and security
  • - Provide outstanding service and resolve member issues with care
  • - Initiate conversations to identify cross-sell opportunities and deepen relationships
  • - Conduct warm outbound calls to current members to uncover needs and offer solutions
  • - Support branch operations and assist with audits as needed
  • - Maintain punctuality and adhere to attendance policies
What You Bring
  • - High school diploma or equivalent
  • - 6+ months of experience as a teller, cashier, or in a customer service role
  • - Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • - Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • - Professionalism, courtesy, and diplomacy

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • - Fully onsite position
  • - Office-based with frequent public interaction
  • - Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • - Occasional travel for training and branch support
