Responsible for developing individual job plans for Work Notifications that are entered into CMMS by various personnel across Site, identifying and ensuring all parts necessary to perform a maintenance task are procured and kitted prior to scheduling.

What You'll Do

As the maintenance planner, you will be responsible for developing individual job plans for Work Notifications that are entered into CMMS by various personnel across the Site, identifying and ensuring all parts necessary to perform a maintenance task are procured and kitted prior to scheduling. Other duties will include:

  • Focuses efforts on preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance tasks to reduce reactive maintenance
  • Work directly with other plant staff to ensure proper material procurement
  • Direct support to Maintenance Manager and assist plant operations in planning all maintenance work
  • Support the Site's Mechanical Integrity program as a part of the Site's Process Safety Management program, Risk Management Plan, and Manufacturing Excellence
  • Participate in plant relevant meetings as needed
  • Aids in monitoring and correcting problems in the planning process that adversely affect maintenance KPI
  • Asset Care support - Develop a strategy for equipment asset care to include 5S, preventive maintenance review & development, operational instructions, parts, etc.
  • Facilitate weekly planning meeting which reviews KPIs and drives actions, weekly contractor schedule, and confirms and coordinates weekly plans with operations and maintenance.
  • Facilitate outage planning meetings to prioritize jobs, and work scope and communicate all plans, actions, and decisions to plant personnel. Develop a weekly plan and communicate to plant personnel
  • Work with Maintenance Manager to write preventative maintenance routine tasks to include frequency, durations, parts, manpower, and documentation required
  • Manage CMMS / SAP for all-new function locations, equipment, naming conventions, parts, work order processing, and equipment analysis

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical College or equivalent training in the equipment maintenance field desired
  • Experience as a Planner or Maintenance Technician is preferred.
  • Familiar with maintenance management systems for record-keeping and parts requirements.
  • Past experience with CMMS implementation preferred
  • Understanding of process equipment types (Cord Processing equipment, Nitration Process equipment, Pumps, Motors, Boilers, Air Compressors, etc.)
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CMMS, and SAP. Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Knowledge of activities in equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of logical work planning scheduling methods
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
