We are looking for a detail oriented Invoicing Specialist to join out team in Point of Rocks, MD.



This position follows a hybrid work model, with the expectation to be onsite at our Point of Rocks, MD location up to three (3) days per week, or as determined by your manager based on team and business needs. The remaining days may be worked remotely.



Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Point of Rocks, MD location. Flexibility in the hybrid schedule may vary depending on departmental needs.

JOB SUMMARY:
Process high volume of accounts receivable invoices for multiple U.S. locations and works closely with members of accounting, credit departments, and project management to ensure proper and complete revenue recognition and invoicing of customer contracts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Processes invoices on a daily basis. Reviews project budgets, customer information, sales tax, and product codes for accuracy.
  • Works closely with project managers to identify and verify information on a project when there is over or under runs in weight and or hours.
  • Monitors status of project change orders for over/under runs.
  • Ensure jobs are billed within the appropriate time to accommodate credit department and contract requirements.
  • Prepare and generate various scheduled and special reports and participate in special projects relating to the activities of the unit.
  • Assist in the performance of internal audits by compiling information and reports for examiners.
  • Review information collected in reply to auditor's request for data.
  • Support and/or participate in the organization's Continuous Improvement Program.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Vendor Maintenance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
