Key Responsibilities:
  • Builds relationships through office "sales" visits to clinical and administrative leaders of most important existing and new hospitals in Middle East. Business development function will also target payors and referral sources responsible from generating patient volumes from the region. Responsibilities will include developing relationships to connect BCH physicians to physicians from the target region to generate leads and referrals. Develops and implements a sales plan for the Arabic speaking world.
  • In partnership with leadership, execute on market-specific Business Development strategies (in support of the overall BCH global strategy) while developing detailed plans and ensuring successful execution of workplans. Develops robust short term and long term strategically aligned pipeline, from early lead to deal closure, driving revenue in multiyear plan
  • In partnership with the leadership, identifies opportunities, develops proposals and leads for international hospitals interested in buying consulting services, educational services from BCH or interested in developing new ventures with BCH
  • Identifies opportunities for CME programs and/or networking events/conferences with BCH physicians and referring physicians in the region.
  • Identifies market opportunities within own region and makes strategy recommendations to leadership. Participates in team meetings, special projects and BCH initiatives throughout the year
  • Performs other duties assigned

Education & Experience requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Business, and/or Healthcare Administration and 10+ years of progressive experience in international business development
  • 5 years' experience in healthcare related business development preferred
  • Extensive educational and practical credentials in project management
  • Written and spoken fluency in Arabic required
  • Strong sales or business development background with a proven record and extensive experience in dealing with healthcare opinion leaders in the region
  • Work record that demonstrates superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills is required; work record that demonstrates superior customer service skills
  • Must be experienced in multicultural business and hospital administration. Must be a savvy team player and a leader able to work independently in complex situations
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
