We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Profitability Analytics team within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department. The FP&A division is focused on developing talent that will enable our organization's long-term success by improving balance sheet returns, growing fee income, controlling expenses, and gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automation. FP&A works with the brightest minds in the organization who foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, there is executive and board-level visibility and support for our work, and our efforts translate directly into highly visible, enterprise-wide initiatives. We are laser focused on creating value and are seeking like-minded professionals to join our team. The Financial Analystwill be responsible for maintaining and enhancing multiple financial models that enable the bank to analyze profitability - by account, customer, product, segment and more - to help inform strategic decisions and drive results. The primary two models are funds transfer pricing (FTP) and expense allocation. Funds transfer pricing calculates the funding cost of assets and the funding benefit of liabilities on the bank's balance sheet, enabling the central management of interest rate risk. The calculation of FTP uses both Empyrean ALM and SQL. The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing this process monthly, as well as evaluating and implementing potential model changes to more accurately account for risk and encourage desired behavior. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and presenting materials to the FTP Committee, an executive-level committee charged with the governance of interest rate risk management via funds transfer pricing. In addition to committee responsibilities, the candidate will communicate daily with employees at all levels, from bank officers to executive management, and must be able to tailor responses on complex financial concepts to audiences with varying degrees of understanding and different perspectives.
