Are you ready to support mission-critical systems that protect national security? Join Peraton's high-impact Cyber Mission team as a Cloud Systems Administrator and play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing large-scale cloud clusters.

In this role, you'll work alongside a dynamic team of experts supporting complex infrastructure that enables real-time cyber operations. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing cloud-based systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-scale cloud clusters.

• Collaborate within a structured, mission-focused team environment, following established processes and best practices.

• Write and maintain scripts using languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python to automate tasks and streamline operations.

• Manage and configure critical Linux system components, including LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.

• Utilize configuration management tools like Puppet and SaltStack (SALT) to maintain consistency across systems.

• Embrace opportunities to learn new technologies, applying insights from senior engineers and team leads to continually enhance your technical skill set.

• Demonstrated scripting skills and experience working in Linux-based environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance and Polygraph is required

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field can be substituted in lieu of the 4 years experience requirement

• 8570 IAT Level I or higher certification (Security+ CE preferred) is required prior to starting

• Cloud System Administrator Certification or equivalent is highly desired (not required)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to provide Tier 1-3 support, including issue identification, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud computing environments

• Strong independent problem-solving and task management skills

• Proficient in remote hardware diagnostics and repair

• Excellent customer service skills across support channels (tickets, phone, email), including on-call support

• Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Cloud platforms

• Experience using cloud monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
