PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $147,100.00-$179,700.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $114,400.00 - $212,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE

As the Senior Manager of Affinity Partnerships, you'll be at the heart of BECU's brand and community strategy. You'll lead a dynamic portfolio of partnerships that align with our values-spanning sports, education, and community organizations. Your work will elevate BECU's visibility, attract new members, and deepen our presence in the communities we serve. You'll collaborate across teams and with external partners to create meaningful activations that deliver measurable results. Your leadership will guide marketing specialists and ensure strategic alignment, helping BECU grow with purpose and impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead Strategic Partnerships: Manage a portfolio of high-impact partnerships that drive brand awareness, product growth, community engagement, and member acquisition.
  • Own Key Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for major partners-aligning on goals, guiding execution, and reviewing performance regularly.
  • Drive Campaign Execution: Partner with marketing specialists and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns and activations that resonate.
  • Collaborate on Co-Branded Initiatives: Support co-branded campaigns, card marketing, and workplace banking efforts tied to affinity partnerships.
  • Ensure Internal Alignment: Engage stakeholders across the organization to maximize the value and impact of each partnership.
  • Navigate Compliance and Contracts: Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure all agreements and activations meet regulatory and brand standards.
  • Coach and Develop Talent: Provide mentorship and training to staff, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of growth and performance.
  • Negotiate Agreements: Lead contract negotiations and coordination to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Stay ahead of sponsorship benchmarks and partner activity to inform strategy and uncover new opportunities.
  • Measure and Optimize: Track performance using dashboards and KPIs to evaluate ROI and continuously improve activations.
  • Contribute Beyond the Role: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or educational experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum 5 years of experience managing brand partnerships, sponsorships or integrated marketing programs preferably with experience in sports, brand or agency environments.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience aligning external partnerships with brand strategy and organizational goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and complete tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
