What You Can Expect

As a DevOps Engineer at ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA), you will be a critical member of ENGIE's dynamic and collaborative team of software engineers and data scientists focused on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions that support ENGIE's mission for a more sustainable energy future.

You will support the design, development, and deployment of data pipeline application code and infrastructure for training and running large scale forecasting and trading models. This is a great opportunity for a DevOps professional eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment and grow their technical skills by working cross-functionally with data, business, and operational teams.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Technology, your roles and responsibilities include:




  • Design, develop, and deploy data pipeline application code and infrastructure
  • Automate provisioning and deployment using Terraform
  • Automate and improve application testing processes
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure reliable software delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
  • Help enforce cloud security and compliance standards in line with company policy



What You'll Bring



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Candidates with an Associates degree will require three (3) years of industry experience working in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
  • A minimum of two (2) years of industry experience working in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
  • Experience with AWS and Linux-based systems
  • Experience building fast and efficient CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency with Terraform and other automation tools
  • Experience with a programming language such as Python
  • Awareness of critical DevOps concepts including containerization, monitoring, and version control
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to operational excellence
  • A collaborative, team-first mentality and strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,900 - $114,770 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
