       , United States  Essential Job Responsibilities:  The Superintendent is responsible for directing and coordinating the operations of discharge, load, and departure of assigned transportation, while guaranteeing quality, security, safety and efficiency in accordance with relevant operational and technical parameters. The Superintendent is the first line supervisor of the operations management team and is responsible for the direction and supervision of union labor. The Superintendent is often the only member of management interacting with labor while working a ship and must represent the interests of SSA while supervising the union labor. This is a part-time position that will work in multiple locations in the area.
