About the team

The FIS LegalDepartmentis comprised of approximately 200 attorneys and paraprofessionals worldwide who enjoy being an advisor to and partner with our businesses to help the company achieve its goals. We work collaboratively with each other and with our business colleagues to solve problems in an effective and pragmatic manner. We view our role asone ofsupportingour business leaders in a variety of legal matters, andwestrive to assistourbusinesses in meeting their objectives with sound, reasonable and well-considered legal counsel.

What you will be doing

  • You will be responsibletomanage and coordinate allissues that arise in the context ofE-Discovery for theLegalDepartmentand the Company,including:

  • Manage, oversee, coordinate and trackE-Discoveryprojects.

  • Plan and strategize withtheLegalDepartment on discovery best practices and leveraging technology both in-house and with our vendors.

  • ManageLegalDepartment requests, including but not limited to: discovery collections; data intake, ingestion, and processing; management and support of in-house hosting and review tools; and production management.

  • Coordinate efforts across multiple impacted business units; including IT, Messaging, Data Security, etc.

  • Serve asliaisonbetweentheLegal Department and discovery vendors.

What you bring:

  • You must have a college degree andE-Discovery experience, becertified by theAssociation of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS),or have equivalent education and experience.

  • You must have aminimum of5years'experienceinE-Discovery.

  • You must have stronganalytical and advisory skills, including the ability to reviewandevaluatemulti-faceted issuesand guidethe Legal Departmenton complexE-Discoveryquestions.

  • You must have strongcommunication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with senior management,in-house andoutside legal counsel, and internaldepartments.

  • You must possess the ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and opposing counseland be able to work collaboratively with other team members, both within the Legal Department and in other groups.
