Overview Founded in 1948, Memorial Blood Centers (MBC), operated by New York Blood Center Enterprises, is one of the largest community-based, nonprofit blood collection and distribution organizations in the United States. MBC operates 10 donor centers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and provides blood products, accredited reference lab services, infectious disease testing, and IVF/Reproductive Medicine services to 41 area hospitals. To learn more, visit mbc.org/about-us. Responsibilities Summary: This position assists in assuring adequate component inventory for internal and external customer needs. Assists in assuring compliance with federal regulations and industry standards. Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Approximately 75% of the job is spent in hospital services department and 25% of the job is driving and delivering orders. Schedule: 2nd Shift, Tuesday - Saturday: 2pm - 10:30pm Job Responsibilities: 1. Performing and overseeing daily Hospital Service tasks (HSRD-1 tasks)

4. Equipment Maintenance
5. Maintains Hospital Services vehicles, department supplies, required forms, and reports. 6. Maintains a working knowledge of federal regulations and industry standards for the storage, labeling, distribution and transport of blood component. The hourly rate for this position is $20.05/hr. Qualifications Education: High school education or equivalent Physical: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and continuous movement in and out of vehicle Other: Ability to work well with others and independently 2 years of driving and/or customer service experience Good driving record Good communication skills; both oral and written Ability to learn required computer functions and programs Attention to detail |
