Are you ready to lead IT resources in navigating highly complex crisis situations and manage the development and execution of disaster recovery exercises for intricate services and projects? As the Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst at Spectrum, you will provide insightful input into senior management reports, detailing the business impact, cost, and expectations of the company's disaster recovery plan. How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead project management for disaster recovery projects and the development of disaster recovery exercises
- Lead teams and coordinate resources to ensure disaster recovery plans are being followed in crisis situations; develop and document tactical business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Lead employee Business Continuity and disaster recovery training and awareness efforts
- Analyze technical and business requirements that drive critical business and ecosystem functions
- Lead identification of risk management procedures, business continuity scenarios, and contingencies; advise on business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Contribute to senior management reports on disaster recovery impact, cost, and expectations and recommend solutions for critical failures
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis interviews
- Document and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Produce disaster recovery reports and standardized exercise documents
- Analyze technical and business requirements that drive critical business and ecosystem functions
- Lead identification of risk management procedures, business continuity scenarios, and contingencies; advise on business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Recommend and review changes required to expand recovery plans; ensure assessment, testing, and incorporation into company plan
Working Conditions
What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
Experience
- 7+ years of disaster recovery or Business Continuity work experience or IT related experience in Engineering or Administration
- Experience administrating a Salesforce environment
- Experience in Salesforce based tools
- Extensive project management experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Extensive understanding of a wide variety of IT functions and technologies
- Ability to effectively work independently and in team environments
- Extensive understanding of Business Continuity and disaster recovery best practices
- Effective communication skills with the ability to speak clearly to both technical and management resources
- Ability to coordinate resources for plan reviews
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications Education
- DRII ABCP required CBCP and or MBCP or equivalent preferred
Experience
- Knowledge of cable television industry
