The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a Program Manager - Transition & Sustainable Operations (TSO) to our dynamic team growing our Facilities and Operations work in Tampa, FL. The Program Manager - TSO is responsible for cross functionalcoordination, transition oversight, and sustainable operational execution across McKinstry's Facilities Operations, DER, Commissioning, AEM, and related teams.

This role ensures that projects move from launch throughsteady stateoperations with clarity, alignment, and accountability visibility.

Your focuswill beon process, transition, and sustainability of operations, not owning every project directly. Act as the "glue" acrossMcKinstrydepartments.

Core Responsibilities

CrossFunctionalCoordination

  • Serve as the primary connector between departments involved in project delivery and operations
  • Maintaindottedlinerelationships with department leads to ensure alignment and information flow
  • Ensure all teams understand timing, dependencies, and impacts of major initiatives

Transition & Launch Oversight

  • Support new project launches by coordinating internal readiness across teams
  • Identify early risks during initial deployment phases and escalate appropriately
  • Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied to future initiatives

Process & Operational Improvement

  • Support ongoing improvement of project and operational processes (e.g., O&M, warranty workflows, TSO processes)
  • Identify recurring breakdowns or inefficiencies and surface them with context and recommendations
  • Participate inclientfacingmeetings as needed, with senior leadership support

Risk Identification & Escalation

  • Monitor project and operational health across teams
  • Identify bottlenecks, accountability gaps, and friction points
  • Escalate issues to senior leadership rather than directly enforcing accountability

Planning & Resource Support

  • Support labor and resource planning activities as assigned
  • Synthesizeinputs from project leads and technical teams into actionable summaries
  • Maintain visibility into workload distribution and emerging capacity constraints

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • 8 - 12 years relevant experience.

  • Expertise in a specific program (Cx, BEA, TSO, MSI, FA)

  • Proficient in Communication/Teaming/Internal and External Interactions.

  • Proficient in project management/people leadership/sales acumen.

  • Technical Degree (desired), Engineering Degree (desired) or equivalent work Experience.

The pay range for this position is $102,780 - $162,830 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
