Description

The Department of Economics invites applications to fill a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor, starting in September 2026. Applications will be considered from all candidates with research interests in applied microeconomics, with emphasis on applied theory and industrial organization. We are especially interested in those candidates with research interests that complement the department's existing strengths in applied research and fulfill the department's aspirations for excellence in research in the broad area of applied microeconomics, with teaching and advising concentrated in these areas. Candidates are expected to develop an outstanding research program, to provide excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels and supervise student research. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who can support the department's teaching needs in graduate and undergraduate microeconomic theory and/or in industrial organization.


Qualifications

Candidates should expect to receive their Ph.D. prior to the start of the appointment.
