The Civil Solutions Engineer is an integral part of the Trimble O&PS sales team who plays a central role in educating client prospects on the benefits and use of the Trimble Unity suite. • Communicate with prospects on their level, using their language and being an expert in navigating both business and technical questions; from all levels within an organization
  • You partner closely with Account Executives to shape demo agendas, craft requirement maps, and articulate an integration story that resonates with DOT operations-highlighting Esri (Roads & Highways/LRS), timecards/work orders, AVL/telematics, and material management
  • You document technical needs and desired workflow outcomes, support RFIs/RFPs and procurement evaluations (functional, security, compliance), and maintain reusable demo environments and narratives aligned to agency terminology and KPIs
  • Bridge pre- to post-sale by aligning SOW inputs and enabling Customer Success for smooth onboarding, while feeding field insights back to Product Management
  • Familiarity with AgileAssets is advantageous, enabling you to connect asset condition, work management, analytics, and funding prioritization into a single, credible value story through the entire pre-award phase
